Our story
Built by players who got tired of guessing
We started in a single Shoreditch back room with three monitors and a whiteboard full of VOD notes. Today our Curtain Road lab pairs UK-based analysts and former pro players with VOD review software, scrim scheduling and a soundproofed casting booth — so improvement is measured, not hoped for.

First scrim block
Eight friends rented a room above a Shoreditch cafe to run weekly review nights for ranked ladder players.

2020
Coaching goes remote
We built our own VOD-tagging tool and coached 600 players online through lockdown across FPS and MOBA titles.

The Curtain Road lab
Moved into our 58 Curtain Road home with twelve match stations, a casting booth and a build studio.

Academy & events
Launched the Iron Academy and started producing monthly community tournaments streamed from the lab.

Booking & pricing
Use the contact form below or call the lab on +44 20 7739 0532. We will match you with the right coach for your game and current rank, then confirm a time within one working day. First-time players get a short free goal-setting call before any paid session.
Yes. New players can book a single discounted intro coaching hour, and Iron Academy members get two coaching credits a month built into their £89 membership. Block bookings such as the four-week bootcamp work out cheaper than booking sessions individually.
The lab & equipment
The Curtain Road lab is open Monday to Friday 10:00–22:00 and weekends 11:00–20:00. Station bookings and coaching run throughout, though peak evening slots fill quickly so we recommend reserving ahead.
Absolutely. Our twelve stations run calibrated 240Hz monitors and low-latency peripherals, but you are welcome to bring your own mouse, keyboard and headset — every station has spare ports and a peripheral tray.
Coaching & games
We focus on the major competitive FPS and MOBA titles, plus tactical shooters. If you are unsure whether your game is covered, message us — we will be honest about whether one of our coaches is the right fit before you book anything.
Both. Coaching can run remotely with screen share and VOD review, or in person at the lab where a coach can sit beside you. Bootcamps mix both formats, and team scrim management is usually run online with optional in-lab review days.
